What R3 Means

Rocks. Rehabilitation. Restore. Recovery. Regroup. Relaxation. The Rs represent our mission to provide the community with access to evidence-based water, earth and energy based healing, by offering state of the art technology, with natural stones and metaphysical products, for holistic healing and wellness in a single location.

You don’t have to be an elite athlete to use the HydroWorx EVO Underwater Treadmill or HydroMassage Lounge, and you don’t have to visit separate facilities to benefit from our healing  services like Massage Therapy or Reiki Energy Healing. All are available to you at R3 Wellness to support your rehabilitation, recovery, and relaxation.

Meet the

Owners & Staff

ANGELA MAINE - Owner

With a degree in physical therapy from UNC Chapel Hill, Angela spent most of her career treating people following strokes and brain injuries or struggling with neurological disorders like Parkinson’s disease and multiple sclerosis. She then shifted to medical sales including using various technologies, including aquatics, to support people rehabilitating and recovering from injuries and various conditions. Angela quickly learned that high-tech equipment is largely unavailable to the general public, especially in this area. People would ask, “Where can I go after rehab to continue healing? Walking is painful, so how can I exercise without pain?” Angela's experiences in healthcare and aquatics inspired the vision for R3 Wellness, where holistic healing is available to the community.

JEFF JENKINS - Co-owner

Jeff spent most of his childhood in north Raleigh and graduated from UNC Chapel Hill, where he studied mathematics. As a young boy, Jeff and his dad would search for arrowheads and rocks on his grandparents’ farm. But it was a geology class that turned casual interest into passion. As Jeff explored the spiritual side of life, he learned about the energy and strength of different types of crystals and gemstones, as well as holistic healing methods like aromatherapy and Reiki healing. This led Jeff to become certified as Reiki Master and connect with people in the local area and around the world to source various crystals, rocks and metaphysical products. Jeff is excited to share this passion for holistic healing with the community through R3 Wellness.
